Case Study — Industrial & Logistics Greenlight Redditch
Project Manager, Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor for a c. £20m, 193,000 sq ft industrial and logistics scheme at Moons Moat, Redditch, targeting BREEAM Outstanding, from inception through to appointing the main contractor.
The challenge
Turning a former factory into a net zero ready estate

A logistics joint venture set out to redevelop a former manufacturing complex at Moons Moat in Redditch into a modern industrial and logistics estate: four new speculative units of 10,000 to 67,475 sq ft, with Category A offices, alongside the refurbishment and extension of an existing building for an occupier staying on site.
The sustainability targets were among the most demanding in the sector: BREEAM Outstanding, EPC A* and Net Zero Carbon in Operation Ready, with solar PV, air source heat pumps, rainwater harvesting and EV charging. All of this had to be set up and priced correctly before a contractor was appointed.
Delivered by Ollie Thompson MRICS in a previous role at Trinity Property Consultants.
